Diane Scott holds an MA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her performance credits include production pianist/vocal coach with Paragon Ragtime Orchestra, Rick Benjamin, director, in the production of Scott Joplin’s opera Treemonisha. She has recorded five CD’s with the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra, all on the New World label. She has also performed with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra in Florida.
During her ten years in entertainment at Walt Disney World, she worked with Regis Philbin, Joan Lunden and Diahann Carroll. She was also a dancer for Smokey Robinson for the Disney/MGM Studios televised grand opening. While in Florida she was the vocal coach for the Beetlejuice/Monster Mania Show with Wayne Brady at Universal Studios. She was choir director and organist at Episcopal Church of the Messiah, played for the Royal Academy of Ballet and adjudicated for the Florida Vocal Association.
In Pennsylvania, she held the position as Director of the Susquehanna Valley Chorale Children’s Chorus and High School Ensemble. Currently she is Director of music at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mifflinburg. She arranges piano music for USAgency and is a member of both the Susquehanna Valley Chorale and American Guild of Organists. She maintains a private piano studio with emphasis on the Suzuki Method.
